Port Douglas and Mossman Gorge

1 hour north of Cairns you find a small nice town called Port Douglas. Celebraties often spend their holidays here because of its nice location and exclusive hotels and resorts. The town is known to be a good place if you want to have a scuba dive or if you want to go snorkeling on the Great Barrier reef!

There are several nice beaches along the way from Cairns to Port Douglas, and Anders and me stopped at one of them.

On our way back to Cairns, we drove to Daintree National park to see the Mossman Gorge!

On our way from Cairns to Port Douglas we stopped on this beautiful beach

There's often lookout stops along the way for tourists who wants to take photos of the view.. like us! :)

It was such a nice drive from Cairns to Port Douglas!

The beach in Port Douglas. If you look closely, you can see that there's just a small area in the ocean that people are recommended to swim in, which i inside the nets put out. Like in Cairns, this is due to stingers (jelly fish) that can cause allergic reaction , which might lead to death
