Here are some photos from our wonderful days in Perth, were we stayed with Eden and her family the whole time. We got to see some amazing spots, both south and north of Perth city. . Thanks Eden for being the best host!!!:)

Enjoying the beach with Eden and Katelyn

Pretty sunset taken by the summer house we stayed at

We climbed this tree... 60 meter high! No security really.. if you fall, you fall.. DOWN! but I guess thats part of the rush when climbing up there. Great view I can tell you
At the top!

I recommend everyone to google Hutt River Province, and read about this amazing man, Leonard (pic.). He made his own Province in Australia, and is called Prince Leonard of Hutt River Province

Gili islands - BALI!

Gili islands are three small islands approximately 1 1/2 hours by fast boat from Bali. Anders and I booked a trip to Trawangan - the biggest of the islands, and this was our first sight of the island :)

A lot of the population smoke tobacco...and it seemed like most of the local guys smoked weed because of the constant smell of it. We got offered to buy mushroom or marihuana several times every day

Café/restaurant at the beach

It was car and scooter ban on the island, so you got around by horse or bike. The island wasn't very big, so we actually walked around it one of the days
Local fruit seller.. with coconuts to the right

It poored down with rain one of the afternoons.. the electricity was gone for a couple of hours as well

Typically shop along the road. They all sell the same things.. but often with different prize, so you have to play smart and bargen to get the prize down. That is often the case when you buy fruit or food along the street as well...so annoying! I hate it..

The famous beer! It seems to be a MUST to buy a bintang t-shirt.. all the tourists are walking around with them, hehe

Anders and I rented snorkeling gear and went snorkeling most of the days on the island.. and one of the days we rented a mask with a camera! Its not the best quality, but it gives an impression of what we saw under the surface

There are lots of beautiful corals.. they look a bit grey when the weather is cloudy, but luckily it was sun most of the time :)

Nemo!!! They usually live together as a family, and suddenly while snorkeling we passed their "house"!

They tried to protect their "house" when we got to close to it

Lion fish! Its not the best quality pic, but I can promise you that the are really beautiful in real life. We saw maybe seven of them. However, we had to be careful not to touch it, because it is poisonous

Sea turtle! :D We saw SO many of them.. it was absolutely amazing!

Katherine "city" & Katherine Gorge

After a couple of days in Kakadu, we decided to drive down to Katherine because the flies were unbearable!! We hoped we could escape them, but we din't.. Anyway, we saw a lot of beautiful nature and Katherine Gorge was especially nice! The town Katherine was crowded with aboriginals like I have never experienced before. It was quite a sad sight. Just a little drive outside Katherine was the Cutta cutta cave, and five min outside the city centre were some warm thermal pools, which we had a swim in. It was NAIS! :)

We slept one night in these mosquito net tents
Inside our van! It was quite packed !

Katherine Gorge
Anders and I did the walking trip, and walked down to the water in one gorge and to the top at another gorge. Here we are on our way :)

Heading towards Edith Falls

The flies were such a pain that we had to wear mosquito nets to protect us against them crawling into our eyes, nose and ears!
